Since I was a little girl I dreamed of being a creative. If you asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I probably said, "an artist."
I find inspiration in architecture, florals, textile design, and so much more. Capturing authentic emotion is always the goal. I love rich color, bright and joyful light, and clean lines. My hope is that all clients view their photos as heirlooms to pass down and not just photos to share on social media.
I am incredibly thankful to be able to do a job I love by serving my beautiful clients.
When I'm not shooting or editing, I usually unwind by stitching up a needlepoint canvas.
I find inspiration in antique heirloom finds. Catch me roaming an antique store on a Sunday afternoon.
After working in the dental field for 13 years, I followed my creative dreams and took my business full-time.
My hubby and I have 2 loyal four-legged companion who not only steal our heart but also insists on belly rubs during every editing session.
I visited my parents one weekend and went through a box of old photographs and mementos from my Dad’s side of the family. At the bottom of the box, I found the sweetest thing. My grandfather and grandmother were penpals during World War II. They had never met before he went overseas- he lived in California, she lived in Alabama. They fell in love through letters. This is an Australian shilling my grandfather wrote a love note on to send back to my grandmother during the war. “My darling love, wherever you go and whatever you do, remember my love will see you through. Sometimes the ways are rough and dark, but I will always keep you in my heart.”
My goodness, I LOVE, love. Just another reminder of why I do the job I do. I know behind every photo I take there is a story. Having the ability to capture other people’s love stories is truly such a blessing.
