Where is a good location for our session?
Tuscaloosa, Alabama has several gorgeous spots for photo sessions. During our planning process we can plan what location will best suite your needs. Whether it’s a session by the river, an overgrown field, a greenhouse, or an urban rooftop…we’ve got options.
What happens if there is inclement weather?
It’s inevitable sometimes bad weather just happens! I always keep an eye on the upcoming weather forecast for a session. If it looks gloomy before our session, but no rain is near, NO FEAR! Overcast weather makes for the most gorgeous photos. I love a good gloomy day just about as much as a golden hour sunset! If there is imminent rain in the forecast, we will reschedule to a date that is good for everyone as soon as possible. I HATE rescheduling for bad weather, but sometimes it happens.
Do you do studio newborns?
The newborns I currently offer are lightly posed and taken in your home. I do not offer studio style posed newborns at this time.

After I deliver your fully edited images, just let me know which image(s) you’d like to select for your complimentary 8 x 10. I’ll get your shipping info and have it sent right over!
What should I wear for my session?
Upon booking, you will have access to my styling and prep guides full of tips and tricks to plan the best outfits possible for your session!
I have a senior session coming up, can I change outfits?
You most certainly can! As long as you’re a quick dresser, in an hour session we could squeeze in 3 to 4 outfit changes. I recommend bringing a couple of casual options and a couple of dressier options for variety.
How long will it take to receive my photos?
24-48 hours after our session I will send you a little sneak peek of our session. Your soft edited proofing gallery will be emailed to you typically within two weeks. I ask clients to select their digital images within 5 days. This keeps me on schedule and helps you get your final images delivered in a timely manner. The quicker you pick your images, the quicker you’ll get the final edited images! Total time for image delivery is around 2-4 weeks.
When should I schedule my maternity photos?
Usually it’s best to schedule your maternity session around 30-35 weeks. However, every little mama is different and this is just a general guideline!
Do you travel?
I do! I will travel within 30 miles of Tuscaloosa, Alabama at no additional charge. For extended travel, extra fees will apply.
